SYNCO Properties has owned and managed The Colony apartments in the heart of the SouthPark area of Charlotte since 1976. During those 43 years, we’ve formed countless fond memories with the numerous individuals who have resided there, but we are now ready to move forward with the redevelopment of the property.
Our firm and its partners have been planning this redevelopment for several years, and this month we notified our residents at The Colony that their leases will be coming to an end later this year so that we can take the next step toward realizing our vision for the property. We understand how trying the moving process is, and members of our on-site staff will be working to assist residents with finding a new home and to identify various vendors to help in that process at reduced costs to residents.
We appreciate the patience of our residents as we turn the page on what has been a signature community for SYNCO Properties. We plan to continue to own and manage the redeveloped Colony property for many decades to come, and any current residents who are interested will have the first opportunity to receive information and lease new apartments at the site when the first phase is complete.
